Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW)

I had the opportunity to work on the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) course as an eLearning developer. This course took a minimalist approach, presenting an interesting challenge that required me to adopt a different design perspective. Many of the interactions in this course were built using a colourful design approach, which meant working backwards to create a consistent and unique design pattern specifically tailored for this course. This approach allowed me to explore innovative ways of engaging learners while maintaining a visually appealing and cohesive learning experience.

Collaborating closely with the instructional design team, I ensured that the minimalist design approach did not compromise the course's educational content and objectives. By understanding the specific requirements and learning outcomes, I integrated the colourful design elements into the eLearning modules, creating a visually captivating environment that enhanced learner engagement. I paid careful attention to usability and user experience, ensuring that the interactions were intuitive and seamlessly integrated with the overall design aesthetic.

Working on the ICAEW course challenged me to think creatively and find innovative solutions to deliver an effective eLearning experience. By embracing the minimalist approach and incorporating a colourful design, I was able to create a unique and visually striking learning environment that not only engaged learners but also reinforced the course's content and objectives. This project highlighted the importance of adaptability and design versatility in catering to different learning styles and preferences, ultimately resulting in a successful and impactful eLearning course for ICAEW students.
