Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
I had the privilege of working on an exciting project for the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) as an eLearning developer. In this role, I was responsible for building the main modules using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript interactions. I utilised various interactive elements such as accordions and image galleries to enhance the learner's engagement and create an immersive learning experience. By leveraging my technical expertise, I successfully integrated these interactive components into the eLearning modules, ensuring seamless functionality and user-friendly navigation.
Collaboration with instructional designers played a crucial role in achieving the highest quality of eLearning for the ACCA project. By closely liaising with the instructional design team, I gained valuable insights into the learning objectives and instructional strategies. This collaboration enabled me to align the technical aspects of the modules with the desired learning outcomes, resulting in a cohesive and impactful eLearning solution. I actively participated in discussions, provided technical guidance, and implemented design recommendations to enhance the overall effectiveness and user experience of the modules.
One of the key responsibilities I undertook in the ACCA project was managing a significant amount of video content. As video-based learning has proven to be highly effective, I ensured the seamless integration of videos within the eLearning modules. This involved tasks such as video editing, compression, and optimising the delivery of video content to enhance the overall performance of the modules. By efficiently managing the video assets, I contributed to creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment for ACCA learners. Working on the ACCA project allowed me to further refine my technical skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript while collaborating with instructional designers to deliver high-quality eLearning experiences. The combination of interactive elements, video content, and instructional design principles created an effective learning platform for ACCA students to gain valuable knowledge and skills in the field of chartered accountancy.
